Valentino Rossi "The Doctor"

Born in Urbino, Valentino Rossi started his racing career in Karts, but it was not until 1992 when he began competing in regional races motorbikes. In 1996 he debuted in the World Championship in the 125cc class. After sweeping the 125cc and 250cc Valentino made the leap to 500cc on the back of the powerful Repsol Honda Team which achieved 3 consecutive world titles. In 2004, Rossi won the biggest challenge of his career, becoming world champion and reissued the following year with Yamaha, a motorcycle that recent years had been treated as second row by the overwhelming dominance of the Honda. In 2006, after a stormy campaign Nicky Hayden snatched the world crown in an agonizing final race.
